The LSIC (Local School Improvement Council) is a legal Council authorized by the WV Board of Education to Advise and consent, formulate policy direction, and generally provide support for the school in non-funding activities. The membership is made up of our business partners, teachers, service personnel, and parents, with one at-large community member. This council reviews and authorizes our five year strategic plan and is required to meet at least once per grading period. They also participate in our annual presentation to the Mercer County Board of Education Meetings where we outline our needs and goals for they year. This is an important council serving the needs of all Brushfork Elementary
